Mai precis, valva EGR citeste amestecul de gaze amanat de un motor si reintroduce in camera de ardere o parte din aceste gaze. Scopul montarii unei valve EGR este acela de a scadea poluarea. O valva EGR stricata poate da informatii gresite motorului, acesta ajungand sa consume mai mult.
