Mures.Clapeta de acceleratie este o piesa mobila care regleaza cantitatea de aer care intra in motor, in functie de cum apasam acceleratia. Clapeta este montata de obicei inaintea galeriei de admisie sau langa debitmetru si este conectata la un cititor electronic. Acesta spune computerului ECU, impreuna cu debitmetrul, ce cantitate de aer vine spre motor, astfel incat acesta sa dea cantitatea optima de carburant.
