Vaslui.Capota motorului este un alt element de caroserie ce ascunde inima masinii, si anume, motorul. Capota este de obicei din tabla cu ranforsare, dar poate fi la masinile performante realizata si din fibra de sticla sau de carbon. O capota de masina nu este un element consumabil, insa in cazul unui accident se poate repara sau schimba. Chiar si capota are mai multe elemente: balamale, izolatie fonica, incuietoare, etc.
