Neamt.Discurile de frana sunt un element al sistemului de franare. Discurile sunt piese metalice solide, care opresc masina prin frecarea cu placutele de franare. Discurile pot fi simple, ventilate, aerisite, perforate sau stantate, in functie de scopul lor. Mai nou, masinile performante au discuri ceramice, care se uzeaza mult mai greu si isi pastreaza o temperatura joasa. Discurile sunt consumabile si trebuie inlocuite cand se uzeaza peste masura, sau incep sa se deformeze.
