.Bascula este o piesa metalica in forma triunghiulara, ce poate fi intalnita atat pe partea din fata a masinii, cat si in spate, la masinile cu suspensie independenta. Bascula are 3 locuri de prindere: 2 pe punte si unul de fuzeta. Bascula este o piesa mereu in miscare, ea osciland sus-jos odata cu denivelarile de pe sosea. De obicei, bascula se schimba atunci cand prinderile de cauciuc nu mai sunt bune si nu pot fi schimbate.
