Husi Vaslui.Vasul de expansiune este o componenta a sistemului de racire a motorului. Vasul de expansiune este un recipient din plastic, de sine statator sau incastrat in radiator, ce permite antigelului sa oscileze intr-un anumit nivel. De exemplu, daca motorul este foarte cald, se va face presiune in sistem si nivelul antigelului din vas va creste. La fel si cand in sistem e prea putin lichid, acesta isi va trage necesarul din vasul de expansiune.
